The tattoo artist has been appearing on the New York-based version of the series since Season 6, and often shares insights into her personal life as well as her professional career at the ink shop.
Season 9’s new season trailer saw her asking what to do and being told to “run as fast as she can”, after reports stated that drugs were “shipped to co-defendant Tatiana Ritter”.

Tatiana Ritter was arrested
Tatiana detailed how she was arrested in her kitchen, while reports stated on Black Ink Crew that three kilograms of cocaine were allegedly shipped from Puerto Rico. She was told to “run as fast as she can” by a VH1 co-star.
One of those kilos was allegedly addressed to the post office box owned by co-defendant Tatiana. This is not the first time Tati has been arrested, as she was arrested for drug possession charges in 2019.

The reality star was arrested for narcotics possession after New York cops discovered marijuana in her car. Tatiana had confessed that she failed her court-ordered drug test when it was moved to a later date.
She broke down in tears in front of her co-worker Miss Kitty, explaining that she could be facing substantial jail time.
She just got promoted
Tatiana has been promoted to manager at the Harlem-based tattoo shop, known as Black Ink. Many viewers congratulated the VH1 star and tattooist for being given the new role.
During the first episode of Season 9, Tati was in charge of dealing with a feud that erupted in the tattoo shop. She was previously a manager before the role was taken from her, and has now been reinstated with the position.
When Spyder became angry, Tati followed him as he left the shop and told him she “doesn’t know if he remembers” but informed him that he had pushed her during the feud.
Black Ink Crew: Where is Tatiana now?
Tati is now celebrating the launch of Black Ink Crew, and has been putting a lot of her focus into working out. She appears to spend most of her time creating ink designs and tattooing clients.
Although some fans were wondering if she is now in jail, she has not responded to any of these questions. Tati uploaded a recent photo which detailed that she “made it home safe” after the recent episode’s watch party.
She also regularly gets her nails done when she’s not too busy filming!
